Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including the coffee station, bar area, and dining tables.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth café operations.
- Educate customers about menu items, including coffee origins, brewing methods, and food pairings.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up equipment and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista, Server, or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic café equipment is a plus.
- Passion for coffee, food, and delivering exceptional service.
