Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including Tealive’s signature teas, coffees, and specialty drinks, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, blenders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Process cash and digital payments efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and handling cash registers or POS systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, including order preparation, delivery, and customer flow management.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, promotional campaigns, and service techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista, Café Attendant, or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (fresh graduates with a passion for coffee/tea are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques, including brewing methods, milk frothing, and drink customization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is advantageous but not required.
