Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality tea, coffee, and other beverages according to Tealive’s standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Upsell menu items by recommending popular or seasonal drinks and food pairings to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special promotions.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the F&B industry (preferably in a high-volume environment).
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation, including brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
- Passion for the F&B industry and a desire to grow with a leading brand.
