Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, following Expat. Roasters' standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and café area.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring coffee bean levels.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about specialty brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of coffee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first mindset.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
