Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and creativity.
- Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations and ensure a memorable café experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and café space in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Operate POS systems, handle cash transactions, and manage orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal drink menus and promotional offerings.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring ingredient levels.
- Provide exceptional front-of-house service, including greeting guests, taking orders, and resolving inquiries.
- Upsell premium products and contribute to café revenue growth through excellent service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a customer-facing hospitality role (prior experience in Bali’s café scene is a plus).
- Passion for coffee, tea, and beverage craftsmanship, with knowledge of brewing techniques and equipment.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and a customer-first approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new trends in the coffee and hospitality industry.
