Responsibility
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms, to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and ensure all surfaces (e.g., glass, wood, metal) are polished and free of smudges or debris.
- Restock and replenish supplies in public areas, such as towels, tissues, and amenities, as needed.
- Inspect public spaces regularly for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces for conferences, weddings, or other resort activities.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding cleanliness in public areas.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping and resort staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under time constraints.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper storage procedures.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
