Responsibility
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold Nando’s brand values.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Support marketing initiatives, including promotions, events, and community engagement to drive sales.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, staff performance metrics, and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Step in as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required, taking full responsibility for the restaurant’s performance during shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Basic understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
