Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily barista operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Train and mentor baristas on coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Ensure consistent drink quality by monitoring preparation techniques and providing feedback.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to enhance satisfaction.
- Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and daily sales reporting.
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional campaigns and seasonal menu updates.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
