Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following Conti's standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and storage spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to the manager.
- Upsell menu items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and seasonal specials, to enhance the customer experience.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for specialty coffee.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and operating a point-of-sale system.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in food service is a plus.
