Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty drinks, according to company standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu options to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction and milk frothing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn about new trends and techniques in the industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in barista training is a plus.
