Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to brand standards and customer preferences.
- Operate and maintain café equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Assist in daily café operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and restocking supplies.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment.
- Promote upselling opportunities by recommending menu items, seasonal specials, or loyalty programs to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately while providing receipts and change as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality or F&B industry (fresh graduates with passion for coffee are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by café operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and café equipment is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a bonus.
