Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor and replenish supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries, to ensure availability during peak hours.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders, performing basic troubleshooting and reporting any technical issues.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
