Responsibility
- Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, syrups, garnishes, and other bar supplies during service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, polishing silverware, and sanitizing workstations.
- Prepare and cut fresh fruit, herbs, and other ingredients for cocktails as directed.
- Support the bar team by fetching ice, replacing kegs, and handling waste disposal efficiently.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the bar manager or head bartender.
- Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and ensuring a seamless bar experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with venue policies.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – full training provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine interest in bartending or mixology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 20 kg, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the bar’s operating hours.
- Basic understanding of English (spoken and written) to communicate with colleagues and guests.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior bar staff.
