Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of banquet staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to service standards during events.
- Coordinate with the F&B, culinary, and event planning teams to execute flawless banquet setups, including table arrangements, decor, and AV equipment.
- Oversee inventory management for banquet supplies, including linens, glassware, and silverware, while minimizing waste.
- Ensure impeccable guest service by anticipating needs, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Develop and implement SOPs for banquet operations, including staff training, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and provide cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Conduct pre- and post-event briefings to align the team on guest expectations, timelines, and special requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to enhance event success and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banquet operations, event management, or F&B supervision within a luxury hotel, resort, or casino.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail in event execution.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office (Excel for budget tracking).
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations (certifications preferred).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
