Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate banquet setup, service, and breakdown to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Lead and train banquet staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee event logistics, including seating arrangements, decor, and audiovisual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all banquet operations.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver personalized and high-quality event experiences.
- Monitor inventory and equipment, ensuring all resources are available and in optimal condition.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of events, staffing, and operational costs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in banquet or event supervision within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in hospitality or event management is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
