Responsibility
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events, ensuring flawless service delivery.
- Liaise with clients to understand event requirements, customize menus, and finalize logistics.
- Collaborate with culinary, service, and operations teams to ensure high standards of food presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Manage event setups, including seating arrangements, decor, and AV equipment, in alignment with client expectations.
- Monitor budget adherence and cost control for all banquet operations while maintaining profitability.
- Train, mentor, and supervise banquet staff to uphold service excellence and brand standards.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable experience.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, client feedback, and operational reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet operations, event management, or a related hospitality role.
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
