Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
- Verify customer identities and ensure compliance with banking regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance checks, and product information.
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy and reconcile daily transactions to ensure balanced accounts.
- Promote Metrobank products and services, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, to meet sales targets.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the branch manager when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships and enhance customer loyalty.
- Adhere to security protocols and safeguard sensitive customer and bank information.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in banking, customer service, or cash handling (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in handling cash and transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, banking software).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
