Responsibility
- Oversee daily bakery store operations, including production, inventory, and staff scheduling to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of bakers and counter staff to maintain high service and product standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods, to minimize waste and ensure availability.
- Implement and enforce food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Develop and optimize workflows to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the management team to introduce new products, seasonal menus, and promotional strategies.
- Conduct regular quality checks on baked goods to ensure consistency with brand standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in bakery operations, retail management, or a similar supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of bakery production processes, food safety regulations, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required by bakery operations.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and basic financial reporting is a plus.
- Passion for baking, customer service, and the culinary arts is highly desirable.
