Responsibility

  • Oversee daily bakehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of bakers and staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, inventory management, and cost-control measures.
  • Monitor product consistency, taste, and presentation to meet premium brand standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Drive innovation by introducing new recipes, techniques, and seasonal offerings.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve operational challenges promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in bakery management or a similar leadership role in hospitality/F&B.
  • Strong knowledge of artisan baking techniques, ingredient sourcing, and production workflows.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food safety certifications (e.g., HACCP) and local regulations.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial acumen.
  • Fluency in English and/or Indonesian is a plus.
