Responsibility
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for ByteCloudâs internal cloud platform.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency for large-scale distributed systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in languages like Go, Java, or Python.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile development processes.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
- Monitor system health, analyze metrics, and implement improvements to enhance scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features and infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (graduating in 2027).
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with backend development (e.g., Go, Java, Python, C++) and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling principles.
- Passion for problem-solving and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Prior internship or project experience in backend development is highly desirable.
