Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end fiber asset delivery projects, from feasibility studies to deployment, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution.
- Collaborate with network engineers, vendors, and internal teams to design scalable, high-performance fiber optic solutions.
- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for global network expansions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between technical, legal, and business teams to resolve blockers and accelerate delivery.
- Optimize cost, capacity, and reliability of fiber infrastructure through data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure network assets meet Google’s rigorous standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline fiber deployment and reduce time-to-market.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, network infrastructure, or fiber optic deployment.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding $10M.
- Deep understanding of fiber optic technologies, DWDM, OTN, and network topology design.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with telecom regulations, permitting, and right-of-way (ROW) negotiations in APAC markets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a global, remote-first environment.
