Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang to support Foodpanda's transactional systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and caching mechanisms to ensure low-latency responses for high-traffic APIs.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of backend services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning to drive technical excellence.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in backend development to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 1 year using Golang.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang), with experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
