Responsibility
- Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations on baby and childcare products to customers.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and safety standards to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current product lines, promotions, and industry trends in childcare retail.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive customer engagement and upselling techniques.
- Assist in visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with the store team to execute promotional campaigns and seasonal displays.
- Participate in product training sessions to stay updated on new arrivals and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in baby/childcare products, toys, or related categories.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Passion for child development and a genuine interest in helping families make the best choices for their children.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Malay or other languages is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in business or early childhood development is a bonus.
