Responsibility

  • Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations on baby and childcare products to customers.
  • Demonstrate product features, benefits, and safety standards to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current product lines, promotions, and industry trends in childcare retail.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive customer engagement and upselling techniques.
  • Assist in visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with the store team to execute promotional campaigns and seasonal displays.
  • Participate in product training sessions to stay updated on new arrivals and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in baby/childcare products, toys, or related categories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Passion for child development and a genuine interest in helping families make the best choices for their children.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Malay or other languages is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in business or early childhood development is a bonus.
