Responsibility
- Develop and execute a strategic B2B sales plan to expand our wholesale client base across Malaysia and potential new markets.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new high-value clients through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
- Negotiate and close lucrative wholesale agreements with distributors, retailers, and corporate partners.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with brand positioning and inventory availability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales approaches and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to maximize retention and upsell opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and B2B networking functions.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or a related industry.
- Strong client acquisition and negotiation skills with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation in B2B environments.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
