Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 11KV electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations, safety standards (e.g., DOSH, IEEE), and company policies.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical faults.
- Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors for electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, reports, and documentation of all maintenance activities and system performance.
- Implement energy-efficiency initiatives to optimize electrical consumption and reduce operational costs.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime for critical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new project commissions and system integrations.
Qualifications
- Certified B0 Chargeman (11KV) license from a recognized authority (e.g., ST, DOSH).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage electrical maintenance, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of 11KV switchgear, MV/LV systems, and protective relays.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and SCADA is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns or on-call duties as required.
