Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test electrical hardware systems, including PCBs, control circuits, and power distribution modules for automation machines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and systems engineers) to integrate hardware components into cohesive automation solutions.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies, risk assessments, and prototyping to validate hardware designs.
- Optimize existing electrical systems for performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CE).
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in hardware design.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware design, with a focus on automation, robotics, or industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 62061) and EMC/EMF compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
