Responsibility
- Conduct thorough security screening of passengers, cabin baggage, and checked luggage using X-ray scanners and other detection equipment.
- Perform pat-down searches and manual baggage checks in strict accordance with aviation security protocols.
- Monitor passenger flow at security checkpoints to ensure efficient processing and minimize congestion.
- Identify and report prohibited items or suspicious behavior to the supervisor and relevant authorities immediately.
- Maintain high levels of vigilance and situational awareness throughout the shift to prevent security breaches.
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding passengers through the screening process with professionalism and empathy.
- Execute emergency response procedures during security incidents or terminal evacuations.
Qualifications
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Minimum GCE 'N' Levels or equivalent educational qualification.
- Possess strong observational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse range of international travelers.
- No prior experience is required, though candidates with security or hospitality backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to undergo mandatory security training and background screening.
