Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming aviation materials and inventory against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to transport, stack, and retrieve goods in a warehouse or airport facility.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and stock levels, using digital or manual systems.
- Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with aviation safety and handling standards.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to prioritize and expedite orders based on operational urgency and flight schedules.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and PPE usage.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or logistics, preferably in the aviation or aerospace sector.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS) and basic computer skills for data entry and tracking.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment; certification (e.g., forklift license) is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of aviation safety standards and hazardous materials handling (if applicable).
- Good communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules (4-on/2-off) and adapt to operational demands.
