Responsibility
- Map and document current logistics processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to pinpoint operational bottlenecks and propose data-backed solutions.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and supply chain teams to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., turnaround time, cost per shipment, error rates) and generate actionable reports for stakeholders.
- Lead or support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools (e.g., automation, AI) to recommend innovative solutions.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices for process adherence and quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process improvement, operational analysis, or logistics optimization.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the logistics, transportation, or manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
