Responsibility
- Verify and inspect outgoing and incoming air freight shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth freight movements.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize loading and unloading processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to shipments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in shipping coordination, preferably in air freight logistics.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Familiarity with international shipping standards and best practices.
