Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for aviation parts and supplies, ensuring real-time data integrity.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Process and track incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying documentation for compliance with aviation regulations.
- Utilize inventory management software to generate reports, forecast demand, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve delivery issues and maintain service level agreements.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all inventory-related activities.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on inventory control best practices and procedural compliance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably within aviation, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific software).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage high-volume inventory transactions.
- Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
