Responsibility
- Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Manage inventory of automotive parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Liaise with customers to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of workshop activities, including job cards, invoices, and service reports.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to enhance their technical and customer service skills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive workshop or service center.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficient in using workshop management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and familiarity with automotive tools and equipment.
