Responsibility
- Deploy and configure automation equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of automated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automation equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Conduct user training sessions to ensure proper operation and maintenance of automated systems by end-users.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to automation and safety.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and recommend upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct effective training sessions.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
