You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, accelerate release cycles, and uphold the highest standards of software reliability. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring comprehensive bug reporting and resolution.
- Execute regression testing, smoke testing, and functional testing to maintain high software quality.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct thorough root-cause analysis for system failures and implement preventative measures.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging testing trends and technologies to improve team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role (min 2-3 years).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium).
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management for test data verification.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
