Responsibility
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of custom automation line projects from kickoff to FAT/SAT completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope documents, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal standards.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to integrate system components and ensure seamless functionality.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or cost overruns.
- Liaise with clients to gather technical requirements, provide progress updates, and address feedback or concerns.
- Oversee the design and testing of mechanical automation systems, including prototypes and final assemblies.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, CE) and company quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation project engineering, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Proven track record of managing full project lifecycles, from concept to deployment, in industrial automation or similar sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, servo systems, and industrial robotics (e.g., ABB, Fanuc).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with FAT/SAT procedures and international automation standards.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site installations and client meetings.
