Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues in automated machinery.
- Install, configure, and test new automation components and systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade or modify existing automation systems.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications for compliance and reference.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all operations.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on automation system usage.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic controls.
- Experience with robotics, servo motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO) and lockout/tagout procedures.
