In this role, you will be the technical lead for designing, developing, and commissioning sophisticated industrial automation systems. You will work extensively with Siemens S7-1500 controllers and the TIA Portal environment to drive efficiency and optimize production processes.

Responsibility
- Design, program, and maintain PLC software architectures using Siemens TIA Portal and S7-1500 controllers.
- Develop and configure SCADA/HMI interfaces to ensure intuitive monitoring and control for operators.
- Conduct on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems for industrial processes.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for hardware and software malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate automated controls into existing production lines.
- Document technical specifications, system architecture, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel for smooth system handovers.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
- Advanced proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and S7-1500 series PLCs.
- Strong experience with SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, Wonderware, or Ignition).
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, and Modbus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel diagrams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
