Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of PLC and HMI automation systems.
- Oversee the commissioning and integration of automation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, including technical specifications and user manuals.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on PLC and HMI systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automation and control systems.
