As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust test automation. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights to improve software quality and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and QA methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing frameworks and tools.
- Work in a hybrid environment, including night shifts, to support global teams and ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on web application testing.
- Proficiency in Playwright and other test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid setting.
