Responsibility
- Execute rigorous preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for automated material handling equipment and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related faults with precision and speed to ensure operational continuity.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize equipment settings for throughput efficiency.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for recurring technical issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company operational policies.
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new warehouse automation upgrades and system integrations.
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a large-scale warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems, sensors, motors, VFDs, and automated conveyor controllers.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm and effective under high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
- Physical capability to perform tasks in a warehouse setting, including working at heights or in varied climate conditions.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by 24/7 facility operations.
