Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, motors, and control systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Conduct regular inspections and calibration of equipment to maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories in a detailed and organized manner.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration into production lines.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and equipment calibration techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to document technical information accurately.
- Certification in electrical safety or related fields is a plus.
