Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure model accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Generate detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to minimize on-site conflicts and improve project efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and company BIM protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and material schedules for cost estimation.
- Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and model updates.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM trends, tools, and best practices to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in BIM modeling and drafting, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and modeling standards.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with the team.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards is a plus.
