Responsibility
- Provide technical expertise and support for ion implant equipment installation, qualification, and optimization at customer sites
- Develop and deliver application-specific solutions to enhance equipment performance and yield in semiconductor fabrication processes
- Collaborate with customers to understand process requirements and translate them into equipment configurations
- Conduct on-site demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting for ion implant systems
- Work closely with R&D teams to provide field feedback for product improvement and new feature development
- Create and maintain technical documentation including application notes, process recipes, and best practice guides
- Support sales teams with technical presentations and customer visits to drive equipment adoption
- Analyze process data and equipment performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment applications, preferably with ion implant or related process tools
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation, qualification, and process optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills in English with ability to present technical information clearly
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% of the time)
- Experience with data analysis tools and statistical process control methods
