Responsibility
- Install, configure, and commission Automatic Fire Suppression Systems (AFSS) and Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) in compliance with NFPA, local regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, replacing faulty components (e.g., sensors, control panels, sprinklers) as needed.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical reports, including as-built drawings, test results, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to assess site requirements and recommend system upgrades or modifications.
- Provide on-site training to end-users on system operation, emergency procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices during all installation and service activities.
- Stay updated on advancements in fire suppression and detection technologies through continuous learning and certifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, or servicing AFSS/FDAS systems (e.g., sprinkler systems, gas suppression, smoke/heat detectors).
- Certification in Fire Protection Systems (e.g., NFPA, UL, or local equivalents) is highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnostics and repairs.
- Physical fitness to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Bali (e.g., Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
