Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of advanced power electronics systems, including inverters, converters, and control algorithms.
- Spearhead R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring compliance with industry standards (IEC, UL, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and systems engineers) to integrate power electronics into broader product ecosystems.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation through technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to optimize product reliability and performance.
- Drive patent filings and intellectual property strategies for proprietary technologies.
- Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality components and streamline production processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in power electronics (e.g., wide-bandgap semiconductors, AI-driven control systems) and propose strategic adoption plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in power electronics R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing high-efficiency power converters, motor drives, or renewable energy systems.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, LTspice) and PCB design software (Altium, KiCad).
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or embedded systems for real-time control applications.
- Experience with regulatory certifications (e.g., CE, FCC, ISO 26262) and EMC/EMF compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of patent filings or published research in power electronics.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous but not required.
