Responsibility
- Develop accurate and detailed shop drawings, layouts, and as-built plans for plumbing and fire protection systems using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring all modifications align with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM) and installation guidelines.
- Conduct site visits (when necessary) to verify measurements, assess existing conditions, and resolve discrepancies between drawings and field conditions.
- Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Optimize layouts for cost-effectiveness, material efficiency, and ease of installation.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD tools, drafting techniques, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably in plumbing, fire protection, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, with the ability to create and modify complex technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of plumbing and fire protection system components, including pipes, fittings, valves, and sprinkler systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NFPA, ASME, local Indonesian building codes).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements and scales.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus.
