Responsibility
- Conduct daily and periodic audits of casino cage transactions, slot machine revenue, and table games financial reports.
- Reconcile daily gaming intake against system-generated reports to ensure absolute financial accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with PAGCOR regulations and internal gaming accounting policies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, potential risks, and recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities identified during the audit process.
- Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for regulatory reporting and internal review purposes.
- Collaborate with the finance and gaming operations teams to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, or a related financial discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the gaming, hospitality, or retail banking sectors.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial control frameworks.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with automated financial auditing software.
- Excellent analytical skills with an uncompromising attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate audit findings clearly and professionally to stakeholders at various levels.
