Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive audit programs tailored for the healthcare BPO environment.
- Lead periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant data privacy regulations.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure compliance health and identify potential risk areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate audit findings and implement corrective action plans.
- Conduct regular compliance training and awareness workshops for staff to foster a culture of integrity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements to keep policies current.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (CPA or CISA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or compliance, preferably within a BPO or healthcare setting.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare data privacy laws and quality assurance standards.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High proficiency in audit documentation, reporting, and regulatory software tools.
