Responsibility
- Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing audit engagements in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyze financial statements, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Identify and document financial risks, discrepancies, and areas for improvement during audit procedures.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans for clients.
- Collaborate with senior auditors and clients to address audit queries and provide solutions to financial challenges.
- Support tax compliance activities, including the preparation and review of tax returns and regulatory filings.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss audit findings and financial insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) or progress toward obtaining one is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
