Responsibility
- Process and verify Australian mortgage loan applications with strict adherence to lender policies and compliance standards.
- Assess client financial profiles, eligibility, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and submit lender-required forms, disclosures, and supporting documents in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with real-time application statuses, client interactions, and follow-ups.
- Liaise with mortgage brokers, underwriters, and clients to resolve discrepancies or request additional information.
- Monitor loan pipelines, track deadlines, and prioritize tasks to meet settlement timelines.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and offering clear, professional communication.
- Stay updated on Australian mortgage regulations, lender criteria, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or equivalent qualification) is mandatory.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in mortgage processing, loan administration, or banking (Australian market experience is a plus).
- Proficient in mortgage software (e.g., ApplyOnline, Mercury, or similar CRM tools).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret financial documents (payslips, tax returns, credit reports).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for client and lender interactions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
- Familiarity with Australian lending laws, NCCP Act, and responsible lending guidelines.
